BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY
Presently there cannot be any kind of meaningful development in almost any life with out knowledge in mathematics. Math is one of the vital subjects in all respects of lifestyle. It is the basis or the groundwork for almost all careers. For example, a doctor, an accountant los angeles, a tutor and a great engineer etc . requires statistical knowledge in their daily work. According to Asafo Adjei (1990), learning mathematics is actually a means of expanding logical and quantitative thinking abilities in other subject areas like the sciences and social research. Looking at the educational system today, the topic is a pre-requisite for getting into the second and tertiary institution. This implies that with no sound basis or basis in math, one are unable to gain entrance into any kind of secondary or tertiary establishment. Presently, math has become one of many subjects where pupils in Ghana execute poorly in any way levels of education. As a result it may be a major matter to the ministry of education, school specialists, classroom professors and parents. These stakeholders in education need to find enduring solutions to eradicate the issue at stake in order to support our foreseeable future leaders inside the areas of math. In our localities where selling and buying are engaged by most of the people, rendering of services, you have the need to have expertise in math both males and females in order to assist in all their daily activities. The knoweledge gain in math concepts can be placed on different domains to solve a lot of challenges in a variety of scenarios, ie transfer of learning. The investigator conducted his research in Bunso Comunitario Assembly principal school which can be located in Bunso in the EastвЂ“Akim Municipality in the Asian Region of Ghana. Bunso is situated along the Accra-Kumasi Road situated 273 kilometers south-east (147) with the approximate centre of Bekwai, ghana (Kintampo) and 66 kms northвЂ“east (311) of the capital, Accra. Bunso has an estimated population of 2500 based on a occupations such as teaching, woodworking, farming, nursing, driving with which farming is the major or dominant profession in the community. The people grow crops of all kinds for export just like oranges, maize, cocoa and vegetables. It has made these people always considering farming since they earn a lot of money than to the classroom because they have already noted money. A lot of engage their wards in trading instead of sending these to school despite the capitation grant and totally free uniforms and meals directed at them. Because the people do not value education, it has influenced them really in their day to day life. Their low background in education as well as for that subject mathematics, copy of knowledge in their daily life's is limited. Illustrations, most of them take in all what they have gained without any funds to save as a result of poor background in education. Pupil's behaviour and behaviors during math lesson delivery make hard for them to learn and be familiar with subject due to pre-conceived heads of the people in the contemporary society.
STATEMENT WITH THE PROBLEMS
Throughout the first and second several weeks of teaching, the researcher realized that the learners had a significant problem in the concepts and ideas of addition of correct fractions. Students were executing this procedure by adding the numerators together and adding as well the denominators together The researcher being confronted by this issue tries to set certain important informations with each other and generate vital suggestions to help solve this problem
